Diane Kruger: Fashion should be fun

Diane Kruger sees clothes as an "expression of a state of mind".

Diane Kruger wears clothes to get a reaction from people.

The 38-year-old actress began her career as a model and went on to star in hit movies such as Wicker Park and National Treasure. One thing which has remained constant over the years is Diane's star style status, and in the November issue of Harper's Bazaar Australia she explains what makes an outfit stand out for her.

"Clothes to me are an external expression of a state of mind, or a reaction I want to get from people," she explained. "Fashion is just a fun way for women to show our colours. Guys buy a car."

She may enjoy dressing up but the blonde star admits posing for photographers at showbiz events is quite daunting. She recently dazzled at the premiere of her boyfriend Joshua Jackson's show The Affair, opting for a classic black and white Ermenegildo Zegna dress with dangling sleeves.

"Red carpets are a stressful, bizarre situation. Imagine having all those people yell at you and take photos. Not the most comfortable moment," she sighed. "It's ridiculous. Honestly, I just don't care what people say. It's not worth worrying about. I care about the film I've just made and what my boyfriend says when I walk out of the door."

Diane looks as radiant now as ever and is envied for her wrinkle-free appearance. She is against taking any measurements to stop herself ageing and welcomes what the future holds.

"I want to age gracefully and I don't judge those who get injections. But we can't age backwards, so you have to embrace it sometime," she added.

And Diane has no reason to worry, as her gorgeous looks have earned her campaigns with Chanel skincare and beauty and L'Oréal Paris. Also read here:www.sheindress.co.uk/long-prom-dresses
